France Coast - Avranches to the Loire Valley

Pete always likes to check out the old cannons! This one was abandoned on Mont Saint-Michel in 1434. Later that century the abbey closed and it was used as a prison. In 1874 the Abbey was handed over to the French Ministry of Culture for restoration.
